Summary:The present invention relates to an electrode assembly comprising an stacked electrode body, in which a plurality of electrode units are wound and stacked by means of at least two rectangular separation films, in which at least one of the at least two rectangular separation films is placed on the upper and lower surfaces of the electrode units, wherein at least one of the separation films, which is placed on one surface is different from a separation film placed on another surface, and wherein the stacked electrode body comprises at least one stepped part, which is formed by stacking an electrode unit having an area difference with respect to an electrode unit that is adjacent with one of the separation films as a boundary.
