Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing polyimide-based hollow fiber, specifically, to a method for manufacturing polyimide-based hollow fiber having a sponge structure, comprising the steps of: preparing a spinning solvent which is made by mixing polyimide as a polymer, good solvent, an alcohol non-solvent as a first additive, clycerol or 1,3-propandiol as a second additive, and an inner coagulant which is made by mixing water and good solvent, or water and non-solvent, or good solvent and non-solvent (S1); forming hollow fiber by spinning in the air through a double holes of spray hole after injecting the spinning solution and inner coagulant to a spinning nozzle (S2); coagulating the outcome by settling down in an outer coagulating solution (S3); and washing the outcome (S4). The spinning solution is added with glycerol or 1,3-propandiol to manufacture a sponge structure of polyimide-based hollow fiber, therefore, the pressure resistance is reinforced when the hollow fiber is used as a gas separator, and the separation ability can be also increased.
