Summary: | The present invention relates to an improved magnetic circuit and a speaker using the same capable of suppressing a stray EM field in the edges by improving an edge shape of a magnet and reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) of a speaker by improving the efficiency of an effective magnetic field. An magnetic circuit of the present invention consists of a polygonal magnet, a plate, and a yoke; wherein an edge part of the plate is cut off to have a circular shape, and an edge part of the polygonal magnet is chamfered, which increases a separated distance between the plate edge and the magnet edge and reduces magnetic flux density in the edge path. The plate is larger than the magnet and has an assembly jig based on a wide separated distance of the edges when assembling the magnet and the plate, thereby restraining a degree of freedom to the plane direction at each edge and uniformly securing a narrow separated distance in the straight line part. A polygonal speaker applying the magnetic circuit according to the present invention suppresses stray EM field of the edges, increases the efficiency of an effective magnetic field in the straight line part, and has an assembly jig based on a wide separated distance of the edges when assembling the magnet and the plate, thereby restraining a degree of freedom to the plane direction at each edge of a polygonal shape, uniformly securing a narrow separated distance in the straight line part, and reducing THD of the speaker. |
