PURPOSE: A video call resolution change method during a content sharing service and a system thereof are provided to reduce a load of a terminal CPU by changing the resolution of a video call in the case that a sharing service is performed during the video call. CONSTITUTION: A camera (221) generates video call data which is to be transmitted to another terminal when a certain video call application is activated. A display unit (241) outputs the video call data which is transmitted by the other terminal on one side when the video call application is activated. If the video call application is activated, a control unit (260) adjusts the resolution of the video call data by controlling an operation mode of the camera. The control unit measures a load of a CPU if a sharing service application which shares certain contents with the other terminal is activated while the video call with the other terminal is proceeding. The control unit adjusts the resolution of the video call data according to a given resolution information table.
