Summary:PURPOSE: A battery with a co-extrusion separator is provided to reduce contact possibility between a positive electrode and a negative electrode by having excellent insulating layer with excellent physical properties such as tensile strength on a porous layer with excellent air permeability. CONSTITUTION: A separator (500) separating a positive electrode (100) and a negative electrode (300) from each other includes a porous layer (510) having pores and an insulating layer (530) which is in contact with one side of the porous layer and does not have pores. The porous layer has higher air permeability than that of the insulating layer. The insulating layer has higher tensile strength and melting temperature than that of the porous layer. The porous layer uses polyethylene. The insulating layer uses polyester and polyimide. The secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including the separator.
