Summary: | PURPOSE: A toner for developing electrostatic latent images is provided to simultaneously improve the electrification homogeneity, charging stability, transcriptional efficiency, and cleaning performance of a toner when the strength of Fe, Si, and Ti of the toner satisfy all of the conditions. CONSTITUTION: A toner for developing electrostatic latent images comprises an external additive including a silica particle and a titanium dioxide particle; and a toner particle. The external additive is attached to the outer surface of the core particle which contains a binding resin, a colorant, and a releasing agent. The Fe strength, Si strength, and Ti strength of the toner are all satisfies the following conditions by a fluorescent X-ray measurement: 0.004 <= [Si]/[Fe] <= 0.009 and 0.8 <= [Ti]/[Fe] <= 2. |
