CONSTITUTION: An operation method of an absorption heat pump uses ethanol as a coolant and a mixture including one or more kinds of 1,3-dimethylimidazolium dialkyl phosphate as a work medium. The mixture contains 1,3-dimethylimidazolium dialkyl phosphate and/or 1,3-dimethylimidazolium diethyl phosphate as a sorption medium. The absorption heat pump includes an absorber, a demounting device, a condenser, an evaporator, and a work medium including one or more kinds of 1,3-dimethylimidazolium dialkyl phosphate as a sorption medium and ethanol as a coolant.
