CONSTITUTION: A hair coloring composition contains one or more kinds of saponins extracted from Codonopsis pilosula Radix, red ginseng, Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge, Scrophularia buergeriana, and Sophora flavescens Solander ex Aiton. The hair coloring composition contains 0.01-20 wt% of the saponins and has pH 6-12. The hair coloring composition improves color persistence or relieves damage to hair. The saponins form dense and rich pores.
