PURPOSE: A target classifying system using a recognition imitating technique and a method thereof are provided to overcome the limit of rapid searching and a keyword searching by detecting and comparing the form of a human or an object through visual recognition. CONSTITUTION: A video acquisition part (100) receives video data. A control part (200) analyzes and stores the video data. A database (300) stores the video data. The database comprises a classification system which classifies the kind of the object of the video data for storing the inputted image data according to the kind of the object. The detailed classification of the classification system stores included vide data (320) included in the detailed classification, average video data (330) calculating the average of the included videos of the included video data, and representative data (310) which is most similar with the average video of the average video data.
