Summary:PURPOSE: A display module and a portable terminal including the same are provided to minimize a black matrix area of the portable terminal and to maximize a view area. CONSTITUTION: A display module (320) is formed of a view area (321) and a non-view area which does not be seen from outside. The non-view area is a liquid crystal display (LCD) drive integrated circuit (LDI) area. The display module is formed into rectangular panel shape and comprises multiple corners (323a,323b). A right and left outer corner formed on the upper side is located in the view area and a right and left outer corner formed on the lower side is located in the LDI area of the non-view area.
