Summary: | PURPOSE: A divided image reconfiguration method and apparatus using a hand held scanner are provided to accurately restore an original single image by estimating and revising images which are divided and scanned and compensating an image area which is overlapped between the divided images. CONSTITUTION: A divided image reconstruction apparatus obtains divided images in order to form an overlapped area between the adjacent divided images according to a determined scan speed (S210). The divided image reconstruction apparatus sets up a virtual reference section to the scanned divided images (S220). The divided image reconstruction apparatus calculates an overlapped image area by comparing the virtual reference section of the selected divided image with an adjacent other divided image (S230). The divided image reconstruction apparatus calculates an image damage value through the calculated overlapped image area (S240). The divided image reconstruction apparatus calculates a correction value (S250). The divided image reconstruction apparatus produces an integrated single image by applying the correction value between the divided images (S260). [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S210) Divided images are obtained by scanning images in a way where adjacent images are scanned overlapped at a pre-determined scan speed; (S220) Virtual reference sections are set on the divided images; (S230) Overlapped areas are identified by comparing the virtual reference sections of adjacent images; (S240) Image damage values are calculated based on the overlapped areas; (S250) Correction values are calculated; (S260) Single image is generated by applying the correction values to the divided images |
