Summary:PURPOSE: A receiving device for receiving a three-dimensional broadcast signal in mobile environment and a method thereof are provided to receive and process a three-dimensional broadcast image while maintaining reverse compatibility with existing fixing broadcast environment in mobile broadcast receiving environment. CONSTITUTION: A tuner (6120) receives a broadcast signal including a service signaling channel. System information handlers (6210-6260) parses a service map table included in the service signaling channel, and component type information is parsed in a parsed SMT. The system information handler parses right and left image information in the SMT. A three-dimensional image formatter (6450) formats right images and left images as three-dimensional images according to the parsed right and left image information. A three-dimensional image display unit (6460) displays the three-dimensional images.
