Summary:PURPOSE: A variable frame and a whole length variable type transportation device are provided to control the length by using the minimum of an actuator and to sufficiently control the length with minimal strain of the actuator. CONSTITUTION: A variable frame (1) comprises an outer bar (100), a plurality of first driving links, a plurality of rollers (600), a driving unit (200), and a support unit. A plurality of the first driving links crosses between the outer bar and a fixing frame (5) and forms a cross point (412) of hinge connection. A plurality of the rollers is included in at least a part of ends of the first driving links and is attached to the fixing frame or the outer bar. One end of the driving unit is connected to the cross point of the first driving link, and the other end of the driving unit is connected to the fixing frame so that the driving unit is extended. The support unit includes a plurality of outer support links (510) and a plurality of inner support links (520). One end of the outer support link is rotatably connected to the outer bar, and one end of the inner support link is rotatably connected to the fixing frame.
