Summary:PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce crosstalk, thereby improving display quality. CONSTITUTION: A display device includes a display panel, a data driver, and a backlight. The display panel includes a plurality of first blocks. The data driver applies data voltage to the pixel of the first blocks. The backlight supplies light to the display panel, and includes a plurality of second blocks which respectively corresponds to the first blocks on the display panel. The data driver applies the data voltage of a data input section, corresponding to the first blocks, to the pixel of the first blocks.
