Summary:PURPOSE: A hair growth promoting composition is provided to have excellent hair growth promoting effect as growth of hair is promoted by shortening a transfer period from a period for rest to a growth period and to have better feeling when used without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A hair growth promoting composition contains a crysanthemum sibiricum extract; and minoxidil marked as a chemical formula 1 (2,4-diamino-6-piperidinopyromidine-3oxide). The composition additionally contains one or more of compound selected from a group of tocopherol acetate, salicylic acid, depanthenol, nicotinic acid amide, biotin, pentadecan glyceride, hinokithiol, zinc pyrithione, and climbazole. The crysanthemum sibiricum is chrysanthemum zawadskii or chrysanthemum indicum.
