Summary:PURPOSE: A compound is provided to have antibacterial activity which suppresses the growth of bacteria causing sitotoxism or a pyogenic infection, thereby being widely used for the development of the therapeutic agents of sitotoxism and pyogenic infection. CONSTITUTION: A compound of a general formula (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are provided. The compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof exhibit an inhibition activity against enoyl-acyl-carrier protein (enoyl-ACP) reductase. The enoyl-ACP reductase is one selected from enoyl-ACP reductase FabI, enoyl-ACP reductase FabK, enoyl-ACP reductase FabL and enoyl-ACP reductase FabV.
