Summary:PURPOSE: A financial medium management system and a method thereof are provided to improve the brand awareness of a financial company of a customer by supplying a financial medium robbery preventing system. CONSTITUTION: If a distance between a recognized financial medium and a terminal is longer than a predetermined distance, the terminal transmits recognition information to a financial medium management system (S130,S140). The terminal receives a warning message about the recognition information from the financial medium management system and receives setting information about the message from the outside (S160,S170). If the setting information is information about the robbery and loss of the medium, the terminal transmits a robbery and loss report message to a financial server and receives a robbery and loss processing message from the server (S180,S200-S220).
