Summary:PURPOSE: A binder composition for an electrode is characterized in excellent storage stability and adhesion so as to produce an electrode improving charging and discharging rates, one of the characteristics of a storage device. CONSTITUTION: A binder composition for an electrode contains polymer (A), a (meth)acrylate compound (B), and a liquid medium (C). The polymer (A) is diene-based polymer particles. The concentration of the compound (B) in the composition is 10-1,000 ppm. The diene-based polymer particle has a recurring unit Mc derived from conjugated diene compounds, a recurring unit Md derived from vinyl aromatic compounds, a recurring unit Me derived from (meth)acrylate compounds, and a recurring unit Mf derived from non-saturated carboxylic acids.
