Summary:PURPOSE: An active context aware system for a recommendation service in mobile cloud environment is provided to supply a user with a service, suitable for the user, through context awareness and inference. CONSTITUTION: A sensor handler receives raw data aggregated from sensors. A context aggregator generates context by converting the raw data into a data form defined in ontology. A context engine performs the redundancy check of the context, and performs inference by using the context and the profile information of a user. A knowledge base manager manages the context and the user profile information in ontology. A service analysis module searches the ontology and the context of the user to fine a service for the user.
