Summary:PURPOSE: An image processor and an image processing method are provided to superpose a display form on retinal image, thereby providing useful information for diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: An image processor comprises a retinal image obtaining unit (1101), a tomographic image obtaining unit (1103), and an indication control unit. The retinal image obtaining unit obtains retinal image of an eye. The tomographic image obtaining unit obtains polarization-sensitive tomographic image of an eye. The indication control unit is placed on the retinal image, and superposes a display form (1105) indicating a discontinuous portion (1104) then indicates it on an indication unit.
