Summary:PURPOSE: A method for controlling data transmission based on the detection of carrier waves and a device for the same are provided to cost-effectively recover data transmission from packet collision caused by competitions during a data transmission operation. CONSTITUTION: The attribute information of a carrier wave signal in a data transmission channel is received (S100). When the input attribute information of the carrier wave signal and the data transmission channel are occupied, the data transmission of the data transmission channel is determined using either a carrier wave re-detection repeating variable or a carrier wave detecting trial repeating variable (S200). The carrier wave re-detection repeating variable is a variable for detecting carrier waves. The carrier wave detecting trial repeating variable is a variable for detecting carrier waves unless the channel is occupied.
