Summary: | PURPOSE: An adsorption head unit of a surface mount device, and an origin position regulating method thereof are provided to control an origin position based on a zero count position of an encoder of each servo motor, thereby regulating the origin position without demanding a data back-up with a battery. CONSTITUTION: A rotary head (120) is installed in a head body (110) to be rotated in R direction. Multiple spindles (121) are installed in the rotary head to be rotated in T direction. An adsorption nozzle (122) is installed on the end part of each spindle, which adsorbs electronic components. A pressurizing member (113) pressurizes the top end of the spindle, and moves the spindle in Z direction. An R servo motor (114) rotates the rotary head in R direction. A T servo motor (115) rotates the spindle in T direction. |
