Summary: | PURPOSE: A device and a method for diagnosing the malfunction of a multi-sensor of a motor are provided to obtain the accuracy and the reliability of diagnosing the malfunction as a malfunction diagnosis is determined by using a rotation speed obtained via a processor adjacent to a multi-structure and a rotation speed directly obtained by tachometers. CONSTITUTION: A device for diagnosing the malfunction of a multi-sensor of a motor(1) comprises a plurality of tachometers(51,52) and a plurality of processors(21,22). The tachometers measure a speed by being attached to the motor. The processors access to the tachometers directly and respectively and receive the measured rotation speed from the tachometers, thereby obtaining a plurality of direct acquisition rotation speed values. The processors share the obtained rotation speeds each other, thereby obtaining a plurality of indirect acquisition rotation speed values. The processors perform a malfunction diagnosis with respect to the tachometers by using the direct acquisition rotation speed values and the indirect acquisition rotation speed values.
