Summary:PURPOSE: A vehicle navigation system interlocked with a user terminal and a method thereof are provided to refer to the information of a tendency of a user recorded in a user tendency information database, thereby properly setting a destination. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle navigation system(20) interlocked with a user terminal(10) comprises a date and time information detecting unit(21), a communication unit(22), a user tendency analysis unit(24), and a user tendency information database(25). The date and time information detecting unit receives the schedule information of a user from the user terminal through a communication network, thereby reading dates and time of a schedule of the user. The communication unit transmits and receives data to/from the user terminal. The user tendency analysis unit extracts the destination information of the user schedule according to dates and time of the read user schedule and sets a destination with corresponding location information when detailed location information according to the destination information is existed. The user tendency information database records the history information of the user generated by the user tendency analysis unit.
