Summary: | PURPOSE: A method for recognizing a pointer control command according to a finger motion is provided to supply a convenient and efficient UI(User Interface) by supplying a command set including click, double click, drag and drop, and moving motions through a touch input device on a rear part of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: Coordinate data of a pointer corresponding to a finger position is inputted(S1). A timer variable value is set to a variable counting input duration time of the coordinate data by receiving the input duration time(S2). A logical value is set to command logical variables based on the timer variable value(S3). A motion control command of the pointer is recognized based on the logical variables and the timer variable value(S4).
