Summary:PURPOSE: A hands-free control method for a multi-DOF(Degree Of Freedom) system is provided to receive an SSVEP(Steady State Visual Evoked response Potential) signal generated by a stimulus about a user in a processor, to generate a system command signal, and to control the generation of multiple component commands by the multi-DOF system according to the reception of the system command signal in a system controller. CONSTITUTION: A user interface(102) generates multiple stimuli about a user(110). When the user receives the stimuli, multiple biometric electric sensors(104) obtain and supply multiple SSVEP signals. A processor(106) determines a system command according to the reception of the multiple SSVEP signals and supplies a system command signal. A system controller(108) controls multiple DOF systems to generate multiple component commands according to the reception of the system command signal.
