Summary: | PURPOSE: An optical film is provided to have high transmittance, low yellowness and haze without using a heat stabilizer and other additives. CONSTITUTION: An optical film consists of an acrylic copolymer. The acrylic copolymer is obtained by polymerizing 70-99 wt% of methylmethacrylate with a dimethylfuran content of 40 ppm or less, and 30-1 wt% of one or more monomers selected from methacrylate or acrylate. The acrylic monomer is manufactured by including a polymerization initiator and a chain transferring agent. The polymerization initiator is peroxide-based compound or azo-based compound. The chain transferring agent is a mercaptane-based compound. |
