Summary:PURPOSE: A norbornene dialkyl ester compound is provided to have excellent thermal stability while maintaining abrasion resistance, and to not contain heavy metal and toxic material. CONSTITUTION: A norbornene dialkyl ester compound is represented by chemical formula 1 which has a dialkyl dithiocarbamate group. In the chemical formula 1: each of R1 is C1-10 alkyl group; and each of R is C4-20 alkyl group or alkenyl group. A manufacturing method of the norbonene dialkyl ester compound comprises: a step of manufacturing a norbonene dialkyl ester by conduct a reaction of dialkyl maleate and dicyclopentadiene; and a step of conduct a reaction of the norbonene dialkyl ester with carbon disulfide and dialkyl amine.
