Summary:PURPOSE: A fryer is provided to prevent the deformation of or damage to a fry basket by installing guide roller devices for guiding a lifting plate in both sides of the lifting plate. CONSTITUTION: A fryer comprises a body(100), an oil tank(110), a lifting device(300), a lifting plate(340), and guide roller devices(400). The oil tank is installed in the body to store oil. A fryer basket is filled with food to be cooked. The lifting device lifts the fryer basket from the oil tank. The fryer basket is placed on the lifting plate while the lifting plate lifts with the lifting device. The guide roller devices are installed in one or more of the oil tank and the lifting plate between the oil tank and the lifting plate to guide the movement of the lifting plate.
