Summary:PURPOSE: A cache memory management method in a communication system and a device thereof are provided to efficiently perform cache exchanging by considering a life cycle of content. CONSTITUTION: If a mobile terminal requests first content, the storage of the first content in a cache memory is determined(402). If the first content is not stored in the cache memory, the priority of the first content is granted to store the content in the cache memory(406). A priority updating process is included based on the predicted popularity of the first content. The predicted popularity is determined by using the number of predicted hits of the first content. The number of the predicted hits is determined by using the variation of hits during a set period of specific content.
