Summary: | PURPOSE: A lance for a bubbling process of molten steel and a method for suppressing a pick-up of nitrogen are provided to minimize a pick-up of nitrogen by preventing direct contact to the atmosphere in a naked molten metal site by having a structure where the lance supplies argon gas to an upper side of molten steel in a bubbling process of molten steel. CONSTITUTION: A lance for a bubbling process of molten steel comprises a main lance(12) and a sub lance(15). The main lance dips in the molten steel and a main gas supply route(13) where argon gas passes inside is formed. The sub lance is equipped in a top of the main lance. A sub gas supply route(18) for supplying argon gas to a surface of the molten steel is formed between the sub lance and the main lance. The sub lance has a bigger inside diameter than the main lance. |
