PURPOSE: A system for providing transportation information using a smart phone is provided to allow a transportation application which is installed in a user terminal to connect to transportation control server and offer transportation information such as running interval, driver, departure time, arrival time, total distance, total time, and simulated tax fare. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal displays various transportations which are adjacent to a current location of the user terminal by running a transportation application and being connected to a GPS, and transmits reservation request or call request which are inputted by operation of a user, together with identification number of the user terminal to a transportation control server(S10). The transportation control server transmits the reservation request or call request to a navigation device corresponding to a vehicle number(S20). The distribution information of transportation corresponding to the reservation request or call request is transmitted to the transportation control server(S30). The distribution information of transportation that the transportation control server received is transmitted to the user terminal corresponding to the reservation request or call request(S40).
