PURPOSE: A vehicle camera system is provided to use one camera and a processing unit corresponding to the camera in order to obtain multiple images for driver convenience, and to simplify invehicle installation and wiring. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle camera system(200) comprises a processing unit, and an additional unit(31). The processing unit divides images which are taken by a camera(11) into multiple groups by frame, and processes the images of each group. The processing unit obtains multiple sources of information, which are different from each other, from the processed images of the group. The processing unit selects the frames of the images by a timed shifting method, and allocates the frames of the images to each group. The additional unit outputs the multiple sources of information, which are different from each other, or controls a vehicle according to the multiple sources of information, which are different from each other.
