Summary:PURPOSE: A novel phthalazinone derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable composition containing the same for preventing or treating MCH receptor 1-related diseases are provided to prevent or treat obesity, diabetes, metabolic disorders, anxiety, and depression. CONSTITUTION: A novel phthalazinone derivative and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof are denoted by chemical formula 1. An MCH receptor-1 antagonist contains the phthalazinone derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating MCH-related diseases contains the phthalazinone derivative and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as active ingredients. The MCH-related diseases are selected from the group consisting of obesity, diabetes, metabolic disorders, anxiety, and depression.
