Summary: | PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a terephthalic acid based ester is provided to improve an esterification reaction speed during a manufacture and optimally arrange a pulverizing device and a reactor according to a factory operation status. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a terephthalic acid based ester comprises a reaction bath(6), a purification bath(9), a pulverizing device(3), and a reaction-produced water removing unit. A terephthalic acid reacts to alcohol with esterification in the reaction bath as a reaction bath ester reaction raw material. The purification bath refines a produced product flowed in from the reaction bath. The pulverizing device supplies the pulverized ester reaction raw material to the reaction bath. The reaction-produced water removing unit removes reaction-produced water generated from the reaction bath. The pulverizing device is equipped in the front end of the reaction bath or the lower end of the reaction bath. The pulverizing device equipped in the front end of the reaction bath is a dry type pulverizing device for pulverizing a terephthalic acid. The pulverizing device equipped in the front end of the reaction bath is a wet type pulverizing device for pulverizing the mixture of alcohol and a terephthalic acid used as an ester reaction raw material. The wet type pulverizing device is equipped between the reaction bath and a dissolver(4) additionally discharged in the front end of the reaction bath in order to provide the mixture of the terephthalic acid and alcohol. |
