Summary:PURPOSE: A floating offshore structure and an operational method thereof are provided to stabilize liquefied gas with a rollover reducing unit in advance before rollover is not generated. CONSTITUTION: A floating offshore structure comprises a storage tank(100), a guide pipe(200), an LTD(Level, Temperature, and Density) measuring unit(L), and a rollover reducing unit. The guide pipe is extended from the inner top surface of the storage tank to the inner bottom surface thereof. The LTD measuring unit communicates with the guide pipe to measure the level, temperature, and density of liquefied gas, thereby detecting a rollover phenomenon. The rollover reducing unit stabilizes the liquefied gas of the storage tank before the rollover phenomenon is generated.
