PURPOSE: An oriental medicinal composition for treating premature ejaculation is provided to delay intravaginal ejaculatory latency time and to prevent, treat, and relieve premature ejaculation. CONSTITUTION: A pharamceutical composisiton for preventing and treating premature ejaculation contains 100 parts by weight of thermal-treated Ostreae concha, 50-150 parts by weight of Rehmannia glutinosa, 150-200 parts by weight of Rubus coreanus Miq., 100-200 parts by weight of Nelumbinis semen, 50-100 parts by weight of Cornus officinalis, 50-100 parts by weight of Euryale ferox seeds, 50-100 parts by weight of Bupleurum falcatum, 50-100 parts by weight of Nelumbo nucifera stamen, and 50-150 parts by weight of Euphoria longana L. as active ingredients. The pharmacetuical composition further contaisn 25-75 parts by weight of Poria ocos or Fossilia ossis Mastodi.
