Summary:PURPOSE: A mobile device and a control method are provided to extract a feature point by predicting change of a scale corresponding to location change and blur generation for obtaining an image and to control object recognition or location recognition through matching the feature point. CONSTITUTION: A mobile device obtains a first original image and a second original image(201,204). The mobile device extracts a first feature point of the first original image and a second feature point of the second original image(202,205). The mobile device generates a first blurring image and a second blurring image(207). The mobile device calculates similarity between the first and second original images and the first and second blurring images. The mobile device determines scale change of the second original image based on the similarity. The mobile device controls at least one of object recognition and location recognition through the matching of the first feature point and the second feature point.
