Summary:PURPOSE: A reinforcement structure for an insulation panel of a liquefied natural gas cargo hold is provided to prevent cracks generated on first and second insulation layers, and to improve reliability at ultralow temperature. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcement structure for an insulation panel(100) of a liquefied natural gas cargo hold comprises a first insulation layer(30), a second barrier wall(40), a second insulation layer(50), a first adhesive layer(70), a second adhesive layer(72), and multiple reinforcing fibers. The first insulation layer is mounted on the rear side of the first barrier wall which contacts to the liquefied natural gas. The second barrier wall is mounted on the rear side of the first insulation layer. The second insulation layer is mounted on the rear side of the second barrier wall. The first adhesive layer is attached to the rear side of the first insulation layer and the surface of the second barrier wall. The second adhesive layer is attached to the surface of the second insulation layer and the rear side of the second barrier wall. Multiple reinforcing fibers are contained in one of the first and second adhesive layers in order to prevent cracks generated on the first and second insulations from being extended to the second barrier wall.
