PURPOSE: An EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve assembly is provided to improve the responsibility of a shaft included in an EGR valve. CONSTITUTION: An EGR valve assembly comprises a housing unit(10), an EGR valve(20), a sensing unit(30), and a cover(40). The housing unit includes first and second exhaust gas passages(13,14) between an inlet and an outlet. The EGR valve is joined to the housing unit, thereby opening or closing a gap between the first and second exhaust gas passages. The sensing unit is embedded in the upper part of the EGR valve, thereby sensing an opening or closing position of the EGR valve. The cover covers the EGR valve and the upper parts of the EGR valve.
