PURPOSE: A direct communication method and a terminal thereof are provided to acquire synchronization by transmitting reference time to a plurality of terminals. CONSTITUTION: A processor(1310) selects synchronization information acquiring reference time according to the priority of synchronization information. The processor acquires the reference time through the selected synchronization information. The priority is followed by first synchronization information, second synchronization information, and third synchronization information. The first synchronization information received from a base station. The second synchronization information is received from a GPS(Global Positioning System).
