Summary:PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a user interface providing method thereof are provided to improve user convenience by storing schedule information including icons and schedules in a selected cell. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(110) displays an UI(User Interface) according to user control. A control unit(120) gradually changes information displayed on the UI according to the size control state of the UI. When the UI is displayed a minimum size, the control unit displays the information as icons and additionally displays a text including a stepwise depth according to a hierarchical structure. The display unit displays a table UI classified into cells. When the cell including the information is selected, the control unit displays the UI on the display unit.
