Summary:PURPOSE: A flexible display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs and time by coating a flexible substrate with microcapsules included in inorganic solvents. CONSTITUTION: An organic light emitting device(150) is formed on a flexible substrate(100). A self-fixing protection layer is formed on the flexible substrate to cover the organic light emitting device and includes an inorganic layer(230) to disperse a plurality of microcapsules(210). The inorganic layer includes a catalyst(220) to activate a self-heating agent function. The microcapsule includes a shell to surround the self-heating agent.
