Summary:PURPOSE: A scaffold assembly, a flow type bioreactor, and a system using the scaffold assembly are provided to promote in vitro growth of hematopoietic stem cells or precursor cells. CONSTITUTION: A scaffold assembly comprises one or more nanofiber sheets(20), and multiple scaffolds(10) which are laminated between the nanofiber sheets. The nanofiber sheet is comprised of biodegradable polymer selected from poly(L-lactic acid), poly(D,L-lactic acid), poly(glycolic acid), poly(caprolactone), poly(hydroxyalkanoate), poly dioxanone, poly trimethylene carbonate, their derivative, and copolymer.
