Summary:PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an alcohol is provided to improve production efficiency of an aldehyde by increasing the contact surface of a mixed gas and a liquid olefin and to minimize the side reaction in hydrogenation process of an aldehyde and a hydroformylation reactor. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an alcohol comprises a hydrogenation reactor(300) and a divided well column. The hydrogenation reactor is a loop reactor or a double-fixed catalyst reactor. The divided well column consists of an input part, a low viscosity discharge part, a middle boiling point discharge part, and a high-boiling point discharge part. Each discharge part is divided by a partition wall for insulating. The temperature and the pressure in the input part and the discharge part are individually controlled. The hydrogenation part is a follow-up means of a hydroformylation reactor(100) and a catalyst/aldehyde separator(200).
