Summary:PURPOSE: An oxygen sensor cooling method for a vehicle and a cooling apparatus thereof are provided to increase the durability of an oxygen sensor and to reduce the exhaust gas by the control of the oxygen sensor, wherein the temperature of the oxygen sensor is controlled to maintain the predetermined temperature even when a driving area is rapidly changed. CONSTITUTION: An oxygen sensor cooling apparatus includes a detection unit(S1), a cooling fan(F), an air duct and a control unit(P). The detection unit detects the temperature value of an oxygen sensor mounted on an exhaust port of an engine. The cooling fan is operated by the reference value according to the temperature of the oxygen sensor detected by the detection unit. The air duct sends the cold air generated by the cooling fan to the oxygen sensor. The control unit controls the cooling fan and the detection unit. The cooling fan is installed with dual cooling fans of which one is to inhale the external air and the other is to inhale the air around the oxygen sensor, and cools down the temperature of the oxygen sensor by the cooling fan operated based on a standard value determined by the control unit by inhaling the air around the oxygen sensor and exhaling the air to the outside. [Reference numerals] (AA) Air duct; (F) Cooling fan; (P) Control unit; (S1) Temperature detection unit
