Summary:PURPOSE: An apparatus for the heat treatment of corrosive gas, and a method for the same are provided to extend the life of a reactor by being separated into a plurality of sub-systems. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for the heat treatment of corrosive gas includes at least four heat emitting elements(8), or heat emitting groups composed of electrically conductive materials. Each heat emitting element or group is heated by the flow of direct currents, by being connected to sub-systems(5) of an electric energy network which is respectively adjustable and/or controllable. Each heat emitting element or group is adjustable or controllable by at least one identical or different parameters of a group including temperatures, caloric value, currents, voltages, and resistance, or by other operational parameters.
