Summary: | PURPOSE: An optical disc apparatus, a method and a program for correcting a tilt are provided to precisely correct a tilt in a non-recorded region. CONSTITUTION: An optical disk device uses an MPP(Main Push Pull) signal as an evaluation index. By using the MPP signal, the optical disc unit searches a focus bias value and an optimal value of a spherical aberration correction value. The optical disc unit uses the MPP signal as the evaluation index. By using the MPP signal, the optical disc unit searches an optical tilt correction value. Based on correction information, the optical disc unit corrects the tilt correction value. The optical disc unit sets up the tilt correction value.
