Summary: | PURPOSE: A mold spore sterilization method by supercritical carbon dioxide using a synergistic effect of a cosolvent is provided to optimally inactivate mold spores for sterilizing. CONSTITUTION: A mold spore sterilization method by supercritical carbon dioxide comprises the following steps: loading samples including mold spores into a processing bath at 38-50 deg. C; inserting liquid carbon dioxide into the processing bath using a conduit, and increasing the pressure of the processing bath into 100-250bar; pumping a cosolvent into the processing bath; and processing the liquid carbon dioxide for more than 15 minutes. The mold spores are Penicillium oxalicum or Alternaria brassicicola. |
