Summary:PURPOSE: A 5-carbamoyl adamantan-2-yl amide derivative and a method for preparing the same are provided to suppress 11beta-hydroxystreroid dehydrogenase type1(11b-HSD1) activation and to treat various diseases. CONSTITUTION: A 5-carbamoyl adamantan-2-yl amide derivative is denoted by chemical formula I. In chemical formula I, ring A is a heteroaryl group or aryl group. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diseases caused by dysregulation 11 beta-hydroxy steroid dehydrogenase type 1 contains 5-carbamoyl adamantan-2-yl amide derivatives, racemic body, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition further contains pharamceutically acceptable adjuvant, diluent, or carrier.
